<(") <(") <(") <(") DJ FEATURE <(") <(") <(") <(")

DJ Overrated’s show, Polymath, airs tonight 10pm-12am. He just trained last semester and already has done some really cool things with his show. Along with his excellent choices in music, tonight when you tune in you will hear an interview with a member of the S&T faculty.

Describe your show in 5 words: “Answering life’s questions…through banter"

Artists/Genres played: Alternative, Classic Rock, Hip Hop, 80s, 90s, one-hit wonders, one-album wonders

Favorite Album:
Artist - Beastie Boys
Album - Paul’s Boutique
The album is richly packed with samples and goofy lyrics. This is one of the last rap albums before the genre started taking itself way too seriously. That being said, it’s a great artistic achievement in its own right.

What is your favorite part about being a DJ?: I love telling stories about the songs I play. To the extent that music is the soundtrack of your life, I enjoy sharing how certain songs influenced me or always remind me of a moment I experienced.

Would you consider yourself passive, aggressive or passive agrressive?: Passive aggressive, I mean, you know…no big deal.

Favorite quote: “I know now that I know nothing." -Socrates
