ABOUT
The name is true, I am handsome and my name is Rob. Now the truth of the matter is my looks are a bit of moot point on air because I am after all working radio, but my mother told me I was handsome and I trust her.

My shows are littered with bad jokes, one sided conversations, and amusing anecdotes about people that the average listener does not know. I tend to talk every 3 songs or so and am a big hit amongst front desk workers during the morning shifts.

I have been a DJ for 5 semesters and have been voted sexiest for only one of them.

MUSIC
First off, I have a fetish for female vocalists who play piano or have a heavy jazz influence.

Apart from the aforementioned Regina-Spektor-Fiona-Apple-centric love affair my tastes lean towards bands with interesting percussion, off-kilter instrumentation, sampling, synth, and every once and a while a bit of folky twang.

I do have a soft spot for the ninties, but I try to keep in check during my shows, so if you listen in you can expect bands like:

Go Team, Bloc Party, Rogue Wave, The Killers, Postal Service, Muse, Jimmy Eat World, Limbeck, The Format, Astronautalis, Gorillaz, again Gorillaz. I stress that this list is not complete by any means, but you get the idea.
