A lot of people, including myself for most of my pre-adulthood, consider the 80s a vast wasteland of musical failure. Hair bands, synthesizers, and generally bad fashion (hipsters would disagree on that point). But if you take a closer look, it really had some swell aspects. It wasn't ALL bad, you just have to know where to dig. Humans destroy what they don't understand, and by that theory, most people want to destroy the 80s.
