Today was a tribute to the relatively young sub-genre of metal known as post-metal. Beautiful, introspective, and at times very melancholy, this branch of music is a fusion of doom metal, progressive metal, post-rock, and even shoegazing.

This is my last year here, so I am putting forth my very best efforts towards putting out great shows. I promise to torment myself over every playlist, as well as improve my on-air personality. This week I played all my favorite songs of the summer, and led up to my #1. I hope you had fun listening! I was so pleased with all the positive feedback, so you know what? I'm gonna try to make next week even better.
I know I play a lot of stuff no one has probably ever heard of.
