In 1968, a secret DARPA project dubbed Project Pegasus achieved, for the first time in human history, the ability to teleport through space-time. Under the direction of then US president Lyndon B. Johnson, the secrets of human teleportation were declared a MILITARY SECRET and were concealed from the general public.

In the early 1980's the project was revisited during the Reagan Administration. This new group, THE IMPOSSIBLE CHRONONAUTS were led by Project Pegasus child participant and Washington state lawyer Andrew "Thunderbolt" Basiago. He and his crack team of space-time travelers: Action Jackson, William "Bulldog" Stillings, and future president Barack Obama defended the Earth from intergalactic threats using their secret jump base on Mars.
